Dear Mom,
You have always been there for me. You have cared for me in the same way that Mary cared for Jesus. You are always brave in sticking up for me and making sure that things are best for me. You have raised me into a young man and have always remained kind to me when matters are hard. All of your children will always look up to you for your guidance, selflessness and love. Even though I don’t always show it, I rely on you for comfort and seeing you at the end of the school day makes me happy. I will always remember the days we played Candyland and you seemed to always get Plumpy. I rely on you to help me when things get difficult. You have been my teacher through life. Even though I make mistakes, you always forgive me and try to make it better. You are my Superhero every day. You are as strong and protective as a mother bear. I think you are fearless and that fear is frightened of you! You have always had faith in me that I can do the best I can do in my work. You try every day to make the day better for me and everyone else. You put a smile on my face every day. You make my world fun and challenging. I hope to find the same passion for life that you have every day. I will do everything I can for you as you age. I will provide the love and care you have given to me. I hope to be as successful as you have. I will always be by your side the same you have with me. The kids and I will always work our hardest to make you happy. Know that I will always love you.
Love,
Duncan
