Special Needs Coordinator Katie Robinson has been at Corpus Christi for two years. She is a credentialed teacher in Secondary Science and is completing a Masters Degree in Special Education and Education Therapy. She is on campus Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Psychologist Dr. Sharon Kappleman has been with Corpus Christi for five years. She is available to students and families on Fridays. The Special Needs Coordinator and Psychologist provide a variety of services for students, families and teachers that include: informal and formal assessment to determine student strengths, weaknesses, learning styles developing appropriate classroom accommodations in consultation with teachers individual and small group remediation for students with special needs coordination and case management of Student Success Team (SST) meetings recommendations and referrals to outside services
